eHG Serves on ICD-10 Playbook Task Force

“The ICD-10 PlayBook provides critical information to assist hospitals, ambulatory centers, practitioners, and their staff in transitioning to ICD-10. The PlayBook was developed by HIMSS staff with support from the Medical Banking and Financial Systems Committee, ICD-10 Task Force, ICD-10 PlayBook Work Group, and 25 organizations including associations, health plans, providers, vendors, consultants, government and banks.

The purpose of the PlayBook is… to centralize information for strategy development, implementation, best practice, remediation, human resource planning, advanced financial risk identification, risk mitigation, and to direct the user to additional resources.”

Since 2009 eHGs Founder: Dan Erler, has served on this vital committee and continues into 2012 to help pave the way for a successful transition to the ICD-10.
